Driving through Denali National Park, while coming and going from Fairbanks, was a wonderful experience. We saw it in two types of weather conditions. As we were headed towards Fairbanks, we saw it covered in snow. On our way back, it was sunny and most of the snow had melted. It was spectacular and we got to see a moose, moose! Here are some of the pictures taken in both elements.

Mrs. travel buddy and me at the visitor center

We found this cute bear to pose with while there!

The snow was beautiful, but you couldn't see the mountains very well.

We saw a moose, moose!!

Mr. Grumble and I enjoying the snow!

Mr. and Mrs. travel buddy and us Grumbles at the park sign. This is the entrance, but we decided to take an exit pic! We are on our way to Fairbanks (that will be discussed in another post).

We are back from Fairbanks and look, no snow!!

There was snow on the mountains, but not anywhere else! it was a beautiful sight to see!

This train kept following us as we traveled through the park and beyond. As it is September, we were informed this was the last train of the season.

Peek-a-boo view of one of the mountains. The contrast of snow and greenery was stunning. These pics don't fully capture the beauty we encountered!

We got to see Mt. McKinley/Denali, but not the top of it! I'll take seeing any part of it as a blessing! The first time through, we saw nothing of it. It was a gorgeous sight to see!
I hope you enjoyed our adventure to Denali. Next up is Fairbanks. I have some stories to tell with those pics! Until next time...
