I have a love/ hate relationship with art. Yes, I am admitting that. For a while now, I have struggled to find direction in my art. I wasn't finding joy in it either. During the Lenten season, God gave me the direction and passion needed and I am excited to introduce the first piece in a new series of paintings titled, "Trinity Quilt Series."

God inspired me to paint what I love and one of the many things that spark interest in me is quilts. There will be twenty paintings in this series with different patterns and designs. Hidden inside each painting will be symbols of the Trinity. They can be seen in jewelry pieces, patterns, colors, or shapes... There will always be three things to look for that match. I will be mixing acrylic paint with sand to create the texture you see. All paintings will have a Bible verse in the title that will be the meaning behind that particular canvas. On the back of each canvas and for the person who buys that canvas, there will be a synopsis of their painting.

This first painting is my take on the bursting heart pattern. This will be the only time I share what is on the back of a canvas. I will let it speak for itself:

I have always loved quilts. They are made with care and hard work. Most of all, they are made with love. If someone takes the time to make you one, you know they truly care about you.

Our Lord loves us so much that He died on the cross for us. He didn’t have to, but He chose to save us and redeem us. His love is a quilt wrapped around us —given with love.

I have hidden Trinity symbols in this painting. Hint: They can be jewelry, stitching, shapes, or colors... There are three sets of three symbols in this painting. Enjoy the search.

Made with love for you and thank you for your purchase.
